Today is our last full day in Bangkok. We have now been here 6 days and we feel like we have done so much. Since the last post we have had a great dinner at the night market in Pat Pong. If you don't know Bangkok Pat Pong is the Nightmarket and Red Light district. We managed to find a restaurant which looked nice until you saw cats chasing rats very near your feet. We were the only mixed sex couple is this restaurant we were in the gay area also. That was fine untill I went to the toilet. On Christmas Day we found a English speaking church. it was a lovely church doing lots of good work in the city. The service like all good Christmas services had a quiz. The Quiz was split into two teams of maybe 500 people each side. I managed to get the first answer right but the team was let down by another member of my family who gave the wrong answer and lost our team the quiz. We have had a foot massage which was not great but the women were very funny.

Trust a Shuler to mess up a quiz!!
We've heard roast rats quite nice hehe. We've now learnt what Dim Sum is (we had to look it up).
Had a good Christmas with Nana, Mary and the Wrights. Thanks for the great prezzies! Mum had a good laugh at the 70's catalogue, she loves the perfume and the nougats half gone. Thanks for the money - i plan to use it on a pair of wellies. Dad was fascinated by the nutcracker, but we havnt had a chance to play the game yet.
Hope you're both well and having fun, stay safe, love you loads and loads and loads (recurring)
